The Sunrise Gas Department is responsible for assuring a continuous supply of clean, safe energy to nearly 10,000 residential and commercial customers. It maintains a network of over 180 miles of underground pipelines.

The Department's key functions include:

Natural Gas Distribution - providing a reliable delivery system in compliance with the rules of regulatory agencies.

Customer Service - opening and closing accounts, as well as some appliance repair.

Warehousing - maintaining parts and materials necessary to provide consistent levels of service.

Propane Sales - dispensing propane for use in grills, campers and industrial applications.
