Location:
The Grand Ballroom is in the west wing of the Sunrise Civic Center. The Civic Center is on the south side of Oakland Park Boulevard, just west of Nob Hill Road and behind the Dan Pearl Library. This venue can be located using our City Facilities map.

Hours:
The Grand Ballroom catering office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment. Functions may be planned for any day of the week.

Overview:
Whether you're planning a wedding reception for 300 or a business meeting for 30, be sure to visit The Grand Ballroom. The facility, which opened in November 2002, has expert caterers at its helm: Sunrise Catering, Inc. previously managed successful food service ventures at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Marina. Their creative, flexible on-site catering team offers a wide variety of menus - including breakfast, lunch, dinner and kosher selections.

The Grand Ballroom is elegantly furnished with crystal chandeliers and plush chairs. There's seating for up to 330 people, and available equipment includes a dance floor, podiums, stage platforms and a complete sound system.
